My mission and passion is working with small to midsize organizations to help leaders awaken their spirits and realize their full potential from the inside out. A bit about Michele Molitor

Michele Molitor has been described as enthusiastic, inspiring and a bit of a rabble rouser. She instigates new ideas, successful strategies and more authentic leadership in her clients through her passion as a coach, consultant and motivational speaker.

She will stir the pot, get you thinking and maybe even a bit uncomfortable, which inevitably leads to you shining more brightly, contributing your gifts more authentically and creating YOUR version of success!

She is an executive coach, speaker, trainer, facilitator, business consultant, and author helping leaders create substantial organizational growth and success. She is also serves as a School Services Coach for California GEAR UP, a program that helps create a “College Going Culture” for students, teachers and parents in low-income middle schools around the state of California. As founder and CEO of Nectar Consulting, Inc., she brings passion, commitment, and over 24 years of business experience to her work as a professional certified coach, trainer and consultant.

With an engaging style and interdisciplinary approach, she has worked with entrepreneurs, educators and executives throughout the US, Canada and Europe to excel and lead their team or organization more effectively. Her passion for learning, understanding the human dynamic and helping professionals bring their full strengths and talents to their work, gives her a unique set of insights, tools, and strategies to offer her clients to move past obstacles and enhance their success. Not to mention she always brings a boatload of fresh ideas to the table stemming from her 10+ years as an art director & creative director for leading edge companies in multi-media and web development. Her extensive management, branding, design, and marketing expertise gives her clients a multitude of tools to help them grow their businesses more effectively.

Whether working one-on-one or with an entire organization, Michele helps create the shifts necessary for positive change, getting folks into action to achieve greater career and business success with some life balance thrown in for good measure. This ultimately leads to increased clarity and productivity, and enhanced communication and leadership skills, while decreasing stress and conflict to achieve optimal performance, job satisfaction and success.

Michele received her coach training and certification (CPCC) from The Coaches Training Institute. She has also received her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coach Federation. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in Advertising with a minor in Psychology, has studied French linguistics at the University of Paris, France and has a degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Atlanta. Michele is also a licensed Action Plan Marketing Consultant.

Michele is formerly the host of the hit radio show, “Inspired Business – Courage, Risk & Raising a Ruckus” on VividLife Radio. She is also the co-author of two books: “A Guide to Getting: A Clear, Compelling Vision” and “Bite Size Tips For The New Entrepreneur – Wisdom From The Experts Who’ve Made It“, and has also given many talks and programs to help individuals and executives alike expand their growth both personally and professionally, to lead more satisfying lives and successful careers.

Michele, Eli and AliceIn her spare time, Michele is also an accomplished watercolor artist and oil painter. She enjoys reading, hiking, laughing with friends and being entertained by her collection of cats and her Goffin Cockatoo, Alice. She loves contributing to her community and is very involved with the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce as part of their Board of Directors, and leads the Membership Committee in finding new ways to bring value to the Chamber Members to increase their business success. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the African American Regional Educational Alliance (AAREA). An organization dedicated to taking a grassroots, culturally-relevant and responsive approach to creating innovative educational services which target the needs of African American youth and their families in the Bay Area through it’s regional collaborative network.

The story behind Nectar Consulting

I often get asked how I arrived at “Nectar Consulting” for the name of my company. Honestly, it came to me in a dream, waking me up early one morning.

“Like Honey To A Bee” By Daniel Merriam

When I first was considering changing careers to become a coach, I stumbled upon an art gallery in Sausalito, CA. I found this beautiful watercolor painting by Daniel Merriam titled “Like Honey to a Bee“. It captured the essence of me and followed me home.

The title and imagery of “Like Honey to a Bee” brought me present to the joyfulness of butterflies and bees, making me realize how lucky they are. They do work that they love all day long – joyfully going from one flower to the next, drawing out the essence of each unique flower – capturing its nectar, helping that flower to thrive and bear fruit.

The bee takes the pollen that it gathers and turns it into honey. This honey not only feeds each individual bee, but contributes to the whole colony as well. Assisting them all to continue doing their good work in the world.

After leaving the dot com world in 2001, I discovered my next passion – helping others through my work as a coach, to tap more fully into their talents, passions and expertise, their essence if you will. Assisting them in revealing more of their own true nature, contributing their talents through work they love to create thriving and successful careers, as well as happy lives.

I am the bee – working with individuals to help them bring forth their essence into the world and allowing their soul’s nectar, to shine more brightly.

And thus I created Nectar Consulting.
