April is an organizational consultant, trainer, and coach who helps women and men become skilled and confident negotiators.  Having worked in the business and non-profit sectors as well as in academia, she is passionate about the economic empowerment of women and girls and believes that negotiation skills are critical in helping individuals to achieve their own goals. 

Workshops for corporate, nonprofit, and advocacy organizations include Introduction to Negotiations, Negotiating for Sales Teams, Compensation Negotiations, Women and Negotiations, and Negotiating in (Your) Industry, among others. 

In addition to training teams and coaching individuals, April is also experienced in facilitative mediation and has mediated workplace, family, and commercial disputes.  She also consults with organizations on conflict resolution programs.

April was an adjunct professor at the Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business at Mills College teaching MBA students from 2001 to 2010.  Her classes included Negotiations, Entrepreneurship, Social Enterprise, Nonprofit Management, and Human Resources Management.
